Biography

Dr. Mirpuri is a firm believer in evidence-based and comprehensive Interventional Pain Management. He treats spinal conditions, peripheral nerve disorders and offers regenerative treatment options to heal underlying pathology. He is passionate about his job and helping people with painful medical conditions.

Dr. Mirpuri is native to Florida and grew up in Lecanto, FL. Later he attended the University of Florida for undergraduate studies with a dual major in Biology and Psychology. He then attended Lake Erie College of Osteopathic Medicine in Bradenton, FL, where there was extra emphasis on musculoskeletal anatomy and treatment. Afterward, he did residency training at the University of California Irvine in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation, where a robust training program was offered in diagnostic and interventional ultrasound treatments. He then went to Omaha, Nebraska, to further train and specialize in Interventional Pain Management.

Upon completion of his training, Dr. Mirpuri joined a private practice group in Naples, FL, where he worked for 4.5 years in pain management, building a strong reputation in the community and helping numerous patients with both acute and chronic pain. He earned awards by Naples Illustrated as one of the “Top Physicians” in the Naples community for his efforts.

He has a wife and two daughters that provide substantial joy to his life. Hobbies of interest to Dr. Mirpuri include cooking, modifying electronics, movies, and research. He is ACGME Dual Board Certified in Physical Medicine and Rehabilitation and Pain Medicine. He is a member of the American Society of Interventional Pain Physicians (ASIPP) and Florida Osteopathic Medical Association (FOMA).
