Dr. Kevin R. Vincent, M.D., Ph.D., FACSM, CAQSM is an internationally respected leader in sports medicine, musculoskeletal health, and exercise, bringing over two decades of academic and professional expertise to The Orthopaedic Institute (TOI).
As the founder of Florida’s most established and comprehensive Running Medicine Clinic, Dr. Vincent has earned national and international recognition for his work in advancing the performance, health, and safety of runners of all ages and skill levels. He has also served as solicited expert for several national orthopedic working groups on musculoskeletal conditions. With his strength using the kinetic chain approach, he has expertise in problem-solving of complex sports injuries.
He has a distinguished track record of returning recreational athletes, collegiate athletes, Ironman competitors, professionals and Team USA athletes back to the highest level of performance.

With a passion for evidence-based care, Dr. Vincent has over 300 published works in the areas of sports medicine, resistance exercise, sports nutrition, and biomechanics. Dr. Vincent focuses on the newest research for his patients. As the Editor-in-Chief for Current Sports Medicine Reports, he is leading sports medicine developments. He is also an in-demand speaker, frequently presenting at national and international conferences on running medicine, strength training and injury prevention.
